I am Chairman of Lea Valley Air Gun Club - Hertford

We are lucky as use a Corperate Clay Ground with Noise restrictions on Saturday's

We have use of Four Ranges & a 6 1/2 Acre Woods

Ranges Hours are from 0930 - 1600 -

Plus Large Club House & Flush Toilets - most weeks - mains froze last Saturday

And have on site Commercial Caters Doing Hot food

Club Supplies Hot Drinks within Club Fee

£5.00 Visitor Adults / £2.50 Juniors and over 60's

Members Pay - £2.00 Adults / £1.00 Juniors & over 60's

We do not force - Membership - Only Registration

Large Hard Standing Car Park

We welcome New Shooters

We Run weekly Competitions - Rifle & Pistol

But majority to seem to prefer to practise on Ranges

We average over 100 Shooters through the Ranges most Saturday's

And have a large For Sale Table - where Shooters move on unrequired Gun's

I agree with you , being a club shooter.

Its a great place to meet with like minded souls, discuss the sport , practice , and just hang out.

I belong to 2 clubs , both are great places to shoot and just enjoy the guns .

Its a good place to bring newbies & children, as there are always plenty of other guys to help , encourage & preach safety.

I tend to find my own kids tend to listen without hearing me, where as if some one else gives a lecture on safety, they tend to take cognisance of it .
