Hi all
I have a Webley Vulcan .22, Serial No: 561955.
It was working perfect until my son broke the barrel to load a pellet and accidentally pulled the trigger before closing the gun. The barrel sprung up as if trying to close by its self, when the trigger was pulled, but now, every time I try to close the barrel with the spring taut & ready to fire, the barrel will not now close completely flush.
I removed the stock, and cocked the barrel & could see that the cocking lever looks as if it needs to slide further forward (As it does when the rifle is fired if I break the barrel and just close it without loading the spring it lines up perfect) It looks like the Cocking lever is being stopped from sliding forward enough by the “Main spring guide”? I’m just guessing Main spring guide from looking at a parts list on line, or some metal part as you can see it!
Any advice/help will be greatly received from a very fed up new member!
